"Oh, it was a summer."
That's how Jennifer Lopez decided to caption her first Instagram carousel post since filing from divorce from her estranged husband and Hollywood actor Ben Affleck in late August.
"Everything is unfolding in divine order," one slide said in the post she shared Saturday, while another featured a pink tie die sweatshirt that said "blessed mom." And the messages did not stop there: one slide featured a woman wearing a T-shirt that read, "she's in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace."
The carousel also featured multiple mirror pictures, JLo licking an ice cream cone, a bubble bath, daisies and a selfie of the Hustlers actress with a shirt that says "dream."

On Aug. 20, JLo filed to divorce the "Good Will Hunting" alum in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to court filings obtained by USA TODAY. The pair, who were previously engaged to each other in 2002 and later in 2021, delighted fans when they reunited after respective splits. It marks the second marriage for Affleck and the fourth for Lopez.
According to a divorce filing reviewed by USA TODAY, Lopez, whose legal name has been Jennifer Lynn Affleck since her 2022 marriage, has requested to change her name back to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
Lopez filed for divorce on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony that took place at Affleck's estate outside of Savannah.

According to the petition, the "Jenny from the Block" singer filed the court documents pro per, or without legal representation. She listed July 16, 2022 − the day they exchanged vows in a Las Vegas wedding chapel − as the date of their marriage and April 26 as the date of separation.
Lopez's filing comes after several months of fan and media speculation as she and Affleck started appearing in public solo.
At the May 6 Met Gala in New York City, Affleck was absent as Lopez performed her duties as one of the event's co-chairs. The night prior, Affleck participated in Netflix's "The Greatest Roast of All Time: The Roast of Tom Brady" in Los Angeles, and Lopez did not seem to be in attendance.
On May 16, Lopez and Affleck were photographed together for the first time in over a month, each spotted wearing their wedding rings. Since then, they have been spotted together a handful of times while reportedly no longer living together.
