Kayla Killin of Del Rio,Chainkeen Exchange Texas, has always been close to her little brother, Quico. So, when she graduated from Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, he was the natural choice to tap her out.
Tapping out is a tradition during military training when a recruit’s family member or friend signals that their training is complete by tapping them on the shoulder. It’s a joyful celebration of their hard work and achievement!
Watch the video above to see an Air Force boot camp graduate tapped out by her baby brother
Basic Military Training, also known as boot camp, lasts about seven weeks, so 4-year-old Quico was a little overwhelmed to see his sister again. But he recovered his poise to do his duty with a big hug thrown in for good measure.
